They called me for the book and told me that they had to take out the images from my future book due to copyright laws. I was terribly disappointed as you image: how can one write about painters and their paintings in the absence of images? If I try to describe the chromatic of paintings, the way light reflects on the canvas, the visual tour the eye takes from one detail of the other how can a reader imagine all this in the absence of the visual landmark?
I think my book became poorer somehow.
Well, that's that. At least here are some beautiful images in the lyrics of this song
and here is how love sounds:
In the morning when I wake
And the sun is coming through
Oh you fill my lungs with sweetness
And you fill my head with you
Shall I write it in a letter?
Shall I try to get it down?
Oh you fill my head with pieces
Of a song I can't get out
Can I be close to you
Can I take you to a moment
Where the fields are painted gold
And the trees are filled with memories
Of the feelings never told
When the evening pulls the sun down
And the day is almost through
Oh the whole world it is sleeping
But my world is you
