Chess

Someday I will write a post/an essay about chess as a literary theme.

I have been thinking about it ever since I first wrote The Invisible Cites by Italo Calvino. I also wanted to draw what my eyes have seen there, but was never able to clearly transfer the poetry behind it. Here's a sample of a better vision:

It also happened to me to read The Flanders Panel by Arturo Perez-Reverte, a detective story based on the strategy that deploys the movements of the characters on a chess-board. But what really made me awe in wonder was this documentary about the Turk Automaton. So for now, I am just gathering material.

Si mie mi-a placut mult "Tabloul flamand". L-am citit pe nerasuflate, in format PDF, la un birou asezat pe un meridian departe de Romania.
